Die Interessengemeinschaft Entsorgung der Region Zürich ist eine politisch unabhängige Vereinigung von massgebenden privaten Entsorgungsunternehmen der Metropolregion Zürich. Die IGEZ vereinigt insbesondere die Eigner der privaten Zürcher Deponie-Unternehmen unter einem Dach.

In Kooperation mit der Verwaltung auf Gemeinde-, kantonaler und eidgenössischer Ebene setzt sie sich für einen effizienten, schlanken, aber konsequenten Vollzug des Umweltschutzgesetzes im Bereich Entsorgung ein.
